Your gift empowers kids with Type 1 Diabetes through the healing bond of a dog.

Vivian is a 12-year-old recently diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D). This brave girl is working hard to raise funds for a diabetic alert dog (DAD) that could help keep her safe every day. Despite the challenges she faces, she remains hopeful and focused on her goal, sharing her story with her community and inspiring others with her courage.

Her dedication shows just how powerful a young person’s determination can be, and every contribution brings her one step closer to having a life-saving companion by her side.

Grayson is a 12-year old diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D). Dylan’s Dogs for Diabetes (DCubed) received the donation of a dog from a local breeder, and the dog named Halo was gifted to Grayson as his diabetic alert dog (DAD). He is now raising funds to train his companion that already plays a vital role in keeping him safe. He is committed to living better with diabetes with Halo at his side.

Diabetic Alert Dogs

Did you know that dogs can actually smell when a person’s blood sugar levels are changing? It’s true! And dogs can smell the change 20-30 minutes before even the latest in medical technology. At Dylan’s Dogs for Diabetes , we focus on helping children with Type 1 Diabetes take control of their condition with the power of dog ownership!

How does it work?

No parent ever wants to hear that their child has diabetes. If you’re on this site, it’s likely that you or someone you know is the parent of a child who’s received such a diagnosis. It’s scary. It’s heartbreaking. But with a diabetic alert dog from Dylan’s Dogs for Diabetes (D3 or D-Cubed), a child’s diagnosis doesn’t need to control his or her life. Instead, a new furry friend will help keep your child safe!

Dylan’s Stand

If someone’s life can be improved with a diabetic alert dog, money shouldn’t stand in the way! At Dylan’s Dogs for Diabetes, our goal is to help people with a Type 1 Diabetes diagnosis get a diabetic alert dog without any concern for how much it costs. If having one of these service dogs will help, then you should be able to have one! Your service dog should help you live better—it shouldn’t become a financial burden.
